The exclusion of these children is not only noticeable at the end of the school holidays, when the children talk about their experiences during the breaks. This exclusion has far-reaching consequences for their later development.
We as a foundation have set ourselves the goal of organising a holiday camp again this year with the support of sponsors. In 2015, 40 children aged 7-12 years were able to experience fun and games in various programmes at the idyllic camp of the Henry Maske Foundation at Beetzsee (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The motto this time was "Manege frei" (free ring), and a colourful circus programme was presented at the end of the holiday period.
